3 June--1.5 miles
Lazy day off. I had a million things I wanted to do today, but of course, did none of them. At least I did 30 minutes of yoga. That’s something.

newageaudrey: Uhhh, rip my heart out.
I rewatched this routine more than any other last year. It’s so brilliant.
I just did some yoga for the first time in about a year. Goddamn my hamstrings are stiff! Stupid biking (not)! Whatever. Within half an hour I could already feel myself getting more flexible. Imagine if I could go to real classes.
I miss this shit.
One Piece Fanart—They are totally drinking soju!! ◕ ◡ ◕
Quite possibly my all-time favorite anime. I stopped watching about a year ago. I keep thinking about getting back into it, but I just don’t have the time.
Chopper’s my favorite. I have a sakura tattoo planned in his honor.

Lego bikes! Heck yes!
Why do so few people ride in the rain? I’ll admit that biking when it’s pouring is one of my least favorite rides ever, but I’d rather be a little wet for an hour or so than take the fucking bus. My hatred for the CTA knows no bounds. It kept me from transferring to a different department and almost made me lose my job on more than one occasion. Also, I’m totally vain and have seriously volatile hair where humidity is concerned. I still ride. That’s what a hood is for.
The bike cage was so sad this morning. Man up!
…
Then again, I’m the crazy girl that bikes when it’s 18 degrees and snowing in a freakin’ skirt and tights. What the hell do I know?

So. Every summer, Whole Foods does this thing called the Green Trek Challenge. It’s basically a program designed to encourage exercise, volunteerism and alternative modes of transportation. You get points for every mile you run or bike, for every hour you volunteer with some NPO, for every hour you work out and for every trip to work and back that doesn’t involve driving. Since I bike all day, everywhere, it’s pretty easy for me to rack up points. I can’t remember all the details of how the points break down…I’ll probably go into that sometime later. But for now, I’m using the Gmaps Pedometer to record my milage.
Off today!
